Our Trustees

Henry Chevalier Guild

Being part of the long standing family cider making dynasty at Aspall, he has both lived in Suffolk and been part of the cider industry all of his life.

For three years he was Chairman of The National Association of Cider Makers, working closely with Government on a number of issues including health. This gave him a great insight into how Government works and some of the issues facing both the industry and its consumers.

He has been a trustee at Focus 12 for over 5 years and never tires of witnessing and being part of the incredible work it does.

David Skevington

David is a serving Police Officer and has been with Suffolk Police for 29 years. David is a Detective Chief Superintendent and is the Head of Major Crime and Specialist Operations for Norfolk and Suffolk Constabularies. David brings a wealth of experience to the Focus 12 Board of Trustees regarding risk management, safeguarding, protecting vulnerable people, community safety and partnership working in the public sector. David has seen first-hand the upset and harm that drugs and alcohol addiction can cause to people's lives through his work as well as in his close family. David lives in West Suffolk with his wife and three children and has been an active Trustee since 2017.

Dr. Laura Edwards

Laura is a clinical psychologist who currently works full time for the local mental health service in Norfolk, working in the field of adult mental health.  She was introduced to Focus12 by a previous medical director, and subsequently became the clinical supervisor for all counselling staff.  It was whilst she was in this role that she was invited to apply to be a trustee.  Having worked both with the counselling staff and also now being a trustee, she is able to provide a representation at board level of the clinical/counselling work that is at the heart of what Focus 12 provides.
