Tony Kimber, Chief Executive Officer

I live in a small village in Suffolk with my wife Natasha and our 3 dogs. We have a son who lives in the Netherlands. In my spare time I like to run, walk the dogs and play golf.

The early part of my work life was spent as an electronics engineer, then I moved into technical sales, followed by National Accounts Management. I then ran my own business and finally moved into the charity sector by joining St Edmundsbury Cathedral as their administrator and commercial director.

That bought me into contact with Focus12 and led me to becoming a trustee. I joined the staff as CEO in April 2017 and for me that rated alongside getting married and the birth of my son, Lloyd. This place is incredibly special; the team do the most amazing work and we save lives and bring families back together every day.

Claire Robinson- Finance Manager

Claire joins us on a full time basis from August 2017. Having cut her teeth running her very own ski and hospitality business from 2006 to 2014,  she then established her own bespoke accountancy business before landing at Focus in early 2017 on a consultancy basis. This made it very easy for us to encourage her to stay on when we created the role of Finance Manager in May this year. We are thrilled to have her on board.

What excites her?  She replies, with a glowing smile, "Calculators and Mathematics". Do the Maths.

Di Allen- Counsellor and Therapeutic Team Leader

Di is the longest serving member of the Focus Family, and leads up the Therapeutic/Counselling Team. Being in Recovery, she knows both sides of the ‘coin’, meaning she is able to understand the plight of clients when they first enter recovery. She arrived in Focus12 in November 2004 for treatment, and from there took a Diploma in Counselling, following up with a Degree in Integrative Counselling. Di has experienced the rock bottoms, but now treasures her recovery more than anything. "Oh, and sunshine!", Di adds.

Zoe Gordon- Office and Admissions Manager

Zoe joined Focus12 as a receptionist in 2012, and has climbed the ranks to lead up the Administration Team. Zoe is also plays an important part of the Admissions Team, carrying out assessments with potential clients, liaising with medical staff, and admitting new clients for treatment. She loves her work, and never gets tired of the daily grind. Her exposure to the daily workings of a Treatment Centre means she thinks she lives and breathes therapy, so is actually very happy working overtime when required- it's almost healthy!

Eleanor Scholes- Admissions Officer

Elle is a support officer on the Reception Team. She has experienced Focus12 first hand- she came here for help in 2015 after 10 years of addiction. She is now an active member of the Fellowship and passionate about her Recovery.  Often the first person our clients meet on arrival, Eleanor’s kindness and understanding are perfect attributes in helping them feel welcome. She knows how hard it can be.

When not at work, El can be found immersed in a book, immersed in water (swimming!) or immersed in adventures overseas.  Preferably in the sun!

Jamie Blyth- Business Development & Fundraising Manager

Another arrival of 2017, Jamie brings global experience to the Team. He has enjoyed a multitude of jobs, from finance in Hong Kong, documentary making in Sierra Leone and delivering yachts across the Atlantic. He is determined to lift the stigma of addiction and raise the Profile of Focus12 on a regional and national (and international) level. When asked about his extensive travels around the world he explains he was simply running away. "From what?", we ask. "Myself".

Thankfully Jamie has decided to stop running, has settled down with his family, and is in Recovery.  He channels his efforts into his work, his wife and his daughter; after all, he can only keep what he has by giving it away.
